Taking The Lead: Deluxe Holiday Homes launch Volunteering Initiative to Support Children with Special Needs

Regardless of where it is in the world, NGOs often need as much help and support as they can get. Often, the reason volunteering is so effective, is its ability to help both parties build a sense of connectedness.

Over the year, the Dubai-based special needs centre – ‘Safe Centre For Autism’ in Al Barsha 1, has successfully created a welcoming space in order to support and nurture their students the right way.

Deluxe Holiday Homes launched a unique initiative to help connect with students with special needs last December 15th, 2021. The team, took a step forward to gather with a supportive team and work in coordinance with the, Safe Centre For Autism – Al Barsha.

Despite COVID-restrictions, the organization was able to donate gift bags for the centre’s students. The gift bags contained sensory-motor toys such as slime, fruit foams as well as, engaging materials such as, colouring books and various stationary supplies.

The company’s motive was to help promote the safe centre’s initiative

by providing sensory-motor toys that are engaging and enjoyable to the children. Sensory learning – in nearly all special needs centres, is a vital approach to their education system.

The company representatives were met with nothing but warm smiles, and excited children. The passionate stares and lively laughter were truly a rewarding moment for the organization.

“Change only works in a group of collectives and at the end of the day, we believe team work and consistency is really what helps the students. This is merely just a start to working towards a shared vision and creating what we hope to be: a meaningful difference in the community”, added, Mr. Artyom Meltonyan, Managing Partner of Deluxe Holiday Homes

This lovely opportunity was a real step towards growth for both, our organisation as well as, the safe centre marking a successful launch to many more meaningful connections in the future.
