Night warrior customization
The Night Warrior is the name of Elune’s warrior aspect, her fearsome battle aspect. … It is also the name given to the person who channels Elune’s Night Warrior powers in a ritual to become the avatar of the Night Warrior. This is extremely dangerous, and even witnessing the ritual can be a danger.
Today marked the Tides of Vengeance content update for World of Warcraft – otherwise known as patch 8.1 – and one of the benefits for players of the Night Elf characters is the appearance of Night Warrior.
Appearance is unlocked by completing the precursor questline of the new Warfront (also available today), Battle for Darkshore.
Tyrande’s Darkening – Night Warrior Transformation
Level 120 Alliance players of any race can begin the first Breadcrumb quest as soon as they log in, as a spectral owl will appear alongside you in Boralus Harbor, sending you to Stormwind City.
I’m not going to spoil the questline here except to say that it includes significant changes for several familiar Elven heroes, major and minor, and includes an extraordinary cinematic scene that shows a new side of some familiar characters. In total, it takes about half an hour if you listen to all the dialogue.
At the end of the questline, you gain access to the Night Warrior customization, which is now available to any of your Night Elf characters at level 120. Appearance unlocking used to work account-wide.
To upgrade to the Night Warrior look, visit any hair salon and customize your skin tone. One of the options will give you the Dark Blue / Black eyes of the Night Warrior instead of the regular bright white-blue.
Night warrior customization in 2021
I feel like compared to the nice glowing golden eyes blood elves got and the straight backs orcs got, the night warrior eyes are pretty disappointing and don’t do much but make your night elf look terrible.
Tyrande, the High Priestess of Elune and leader of the Night Elves, will be the subject of a special questline, charting her character development after the devastating Burning of Teldrassil.
Upon completion of this special questline, players will unlock In Teldrassil’s Shadow and more customization options.
The “Night Warrior” customization options for characters include a special skin tone and eyes that glow with the dark power of the moon instead of the traditional white glow. Speaking of which, we’re noticing some parallels to Echo of Tyrande from the AU reality presented in End Time.

I used that thing that says account bound and grants night warrior customization for night elves to have dark eyes. But it’s not anywhere, it’s not on my customization character creation screen or even in the barbers thing.
I have been given this ‘night warrior’ thing a few times leveling alts and used it every time but always wondered why when I use it nothing happens.

World of Warcraft patch 8.1 is live, in addition to a lot of new content, there are also new customization options for Night Elves, which, however, must first be unlocked. Night elves in World of Warcraft can now have black eyes and new skin color. We reveal how you unlock these changes.
Night Elves can take on the visual guise of “Night Warrior” with Update 8.1, a special form of Wrath of Elune. This ensures that they have dark eyes and a slightly altered skin color. Playfully, however, nothing changes in the characters.
To unlock Night Warrior settings: Unlocking new customizations is simple. Once logged in, Alliance characters who have reached level 120 will be targeted on Boralus.
Tyrande arrives and has a quest ready for the players. They are sent to Stormwind and must listen to the War Council there. Then it continues seamlessly to the Dark Coast.
The questline is self-explanatory and each step leads directly to the next. Tyrande goes through the transformation into the Night Warrior, which you can also see in this cutscene.

The Army of the Black Moon is the group of night elven and worgen soldiers supporting Tyrande Whisperwind’s campaign to wrest night elf territories from the Horde. … Contrary to other night elves, they have black eyes due to the Night Warrior ritual.
